Steve Jobs discusses Iphone4 in press conference

“We’re not perfect, and phones aren’t perfect either, but we want to make all of our users happy. If you don’t know that, you don’t know Apple. We’re going to talk about how we’re going to do that” said Apple CEO Steve Jobs during the press conference held today in California.

He went on to term the issue “Antennagate”, an antenna related problem  which he says is common with many smart phones available today.  Also, according to Jobs, only 0.55% of the Iphone4 users have complained about the reception problems.

He also said that users who were not satisfied with their Iphone4 could ask for a full refund until 30th of Septemner 2010 and also promised Iphone4 bumper covers (cases) free to all the people who bought the phone. No indication related to a recall was given by Jobs during the event.

The conference was kicked off with screening the ’Iphone antenna song’  created by an Apple  fanboy and has been  doing the rounds on YouTube for the last few days. The video  indicates that the media has overhyped the phone reception problem.
