RIM enlightens us with the all new Blackberry Torch

RIM (Research In Motion) has launched the latest version of its BlackBerry which boasts of a new look and lots of new features. The new phone called ‘BlackBerry Torch 9800′ is a sleek device that is  both touch and keyboard enabled and includes many new and exciting additions compared to the previous BlackBerry models.

Before making it available for order,  RIM has showcased the features and pictures of this new gadget  on its website.

Powered by the all new Blackberry OS6,  the new features of the Torch include:

  • Touch screen with a visual, fluid interface and also a slide out QWERTY keyboard with trackpad
  • Revamped software for enhanced browsing experience
  • Universal search – A single search box that can look for anything, anywhere on your phone
  • BlackBerry messenger with a new chat style layout, unlimited characters enabled so you can chat all you want
  • Increased battery time – 5.5 hours talk time, 30 hours music playback, 06 hours video playback
  • GPS, WiFi and 3G enabled 
  • A High resolution 3.2 HVGA+ display
  • Social feeds to stay updated with all your social media accounts
  • 5 mp camera
